Greetings From Mexico!!!

Hello Family and Friends;

Well, I have made it here safely.  The ride from the Airport to the CCM was a little scary, but I am alive.  I have all of my bags, my Companion is Elder Niccum and I am in District 7A.

Big shout out to Trudy Moulton for getting me and Elder Wells upgraded to First Class on the airplane down here. It is amazing down here and I already Love it.  My P-day here in the CCM is Wednesday, but I don't know if I will have it this week or not!  I love you all.

Love

Farewell and Becoming "Elder Fawcett"

On July 15, 2018, Elder Tanner Fawcett had the rare opportunity to share his Missionary Farewell with not only his Older Brother Taylor who just returned from serving in the Cusco Peru Mission but also with his Younger Brother Tyson.

Following the Sacrament Meeting, we were extremely grateful for all of his Friends, Family and Ward Members who joined for Taco’s, Refried Beans, Deserts and just a ton of food for both welcoming home Taylor as well as sending off Tanner.  It was marvelous to see such great support and love from everyone.

On Monday night July 30, Tanner was set apart by our Stake President Kent Brown followed by his brother Taylor giving him his Missionary Plaque (Name Tag) and telling him that it was now his turn!

Called to Serve!

After waiting 17 days past my Stake President's Interview; while watching my friend Caden Karras and others who had put their papers in on the same day as me, get their calls the week before, I was getting pretty nervous!  It didn't help that I was jokingly being teased by my friends that My Call was taking longer because calls to the Utah Ogden Mission took longer.

But Finally, My Call arrived Saturday morning with the doorbell ringing at 9:20 AM and our mail carrier personally walking my Call up to the door!  But my wait wasn't over yet!  Some of my friends had also gotten their calls and in order to deconflict opening times with them, I had decided that I would open up my call at 7:00 at night!

After watching my friend Dillon Graham open his call to the Tuscon Arizona Spanish speaking mission, my time was finally drawing near.  As my friends and family started to gather at my house, I was surprised to be handed an IPad by my Parents and on the screen was my older brother Taylor who has 3 months left on his mission to the Cusco Peru Mission.  His Mission President had given him special permission to Skype home and be apart of the big event in my life.

After talking to Taylor and being given some advice and with many of my friends and family now gathered, the time finally arrive!

The Call!!!
